Is ordering online secure? Yes. Our website is secured. We take the utmost care with the information that you provide when placing an order on our website.
Do I need to register to purchase? No. But we strongly encourage customers to register for future product launch/ promotions/ updates.
The item I wanted is not listed. What can I do? We carry a wide range of products, do drop us an SMS/whatsapp/email to get a quote for your desired items.
How is it cheaper if I buy from you? As we do not have a retail store, the cost saving will be translated to lower pricing of product. In addition, try our purchase with purchase deal to enjoy further discount.
What are the payment modes available? For local customers, bank transfer is the preferred method. Overseas customers can make a secure payment with their credit bank through stripe which is integrated in our website. However, there will be an additional 3% surcharge for purchases using stripe.
Can you install the braid and accessories that I purchase with my reel? Yes. We definitely can do it for you free of charge. Please indicate to us in the order notes prior to checking out.
Do you sell reel parts and bearings? Although we carry a range of spare parts and bearings, we do not have this service yet. However, we are able to perform repair, part replacement and servicing for your beloved reels.
Why are the clearance sales reel so cheap? Are they authentic products? All reels sold on our website are 100% authentic from the original end manufacturers. We believe in honest dealings and only sell what we would use. After all, we are anglers too!
Are the prices stated the final amount? Yes, we do not have any hidden cost. However, there will be a 3% surcharge for payment via stripe and credit card.
What is the lead-time for the delivery? We aim to deliver your merchandise within 3 working days upon receiving your payment. This applies for only local (Singapore) delivery. For overseas delivery address, we will arrange for delivery with our forwarder within 3 working days upon receiving your payment. In the event the product you purchase is out of stock, we will notify you via the contact provided. You may choose to cancel the purchase at no charge or wait for the next delivery from our supplier.
Will I be charge for delivery? Local clients spending above SGD$150 will enjoy free delivery. Overseas client will have to bear the shipping charges and custom tax if applicable.
What if I don’t spend above SGD$150 We charge a flat rate of $5 for courier delivery below SGD$150 spent.
Warranty and exchange
Is the product under warranty? Yes, all reels and rods purchased from us are covered against manufacture defects.
REEL LIMITED TO 1 YEAR WARRANTY
During this period, Fishing Fanatics will perform repairs or parts replacement of the reel, at Fishing Fanatics option with no cost to the original purchaser other than shipping charges.
RODS LIMITED TO 2 YEARS WARRANTY
During this period, Fishing Fanatics will perform non-breakage repairs or parts replacement of rod, at Fishing Fanatics option with no cost to the original purchaser other than shipping charges.
For breakage repairs, a nominal replacement cost will be charge based on the following -
Single piece rod: 40% RRP of the complete rod
Multi-piece rod: 25% SRP of the complete rod for single section breakage ; 40% SRP of the complete rod for 2 or more section breakages.
What if I bought the wrong items can I exchange it? Original receipt is required for product exchange within 3 days from date of receipt. So long as it is unused, unaltered and in original condition. However, the customer has to bear the return shipping charges.
What is the downtime for reel servicing? Depending on the condition of the reel, we will complete a basic servicing within 1 week upon receiving the reel. The downtime may be extended in the event parts replacement is required. We will notify you accordingly.
Will you be able to provide photos / Videos during the servicing? Yes we will provide them to the customers and provide explanations of what we do.
How do I pass the reel to you? Contact us for a meet up location. We will advise you accordingly. Tentatively, you can engage us to collect the reel from you at a fee of SGD$15 for 2 way.
What kind of oil and grease do you use for servicing? We carry a wide range of oil and grease from different OEM. You can request to us your preferred choice.
